Holistic mental health counseling, consulting and training services
Is your anxiety level through the roof? Are you feeling depressed, or lacking self-esteem, motivation or life purpose? Maybe you don't feel as connected to others as you once did? I can help you navigate through this phase of your life, so that you can find a better balance leading to a more positive and fulfilling outlook.
I provide integrative mental wellness services for individuals (primarily 18 and up) addressing the WHOLE person. I am passionate about utilizing a holistic mental wellness approach to enrich daily functioning and address challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and phase of life adjustment/changes. I also have advanced training to work with: reproductive mental health (pregnancy loss, infertility, menopause); nurturing long distance relationships; military service members/veterans and their families; and mild to moderate alcohol use disorder.
Additionally, I (along with a few valued and knowledgable colleagues who I have hand-selected to assist me) provide targeted strategy/skill building groups and psycho-educational workshops for all ages-from little ones to adults of all ages, both online and in person.
I am the practice founder, and a seasoned clinical social worker with many years of experience in women's health, OB-GYN, early childhood mental health, and general mental health and wellness issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, phase of life and substance use. I am certified in Integrative Mental Health, and have advanced degrees in both social work and holistic theology. I am also trained in a naturopathic approach to wellness. I have provided social work and clinical field instruction to students from many local universities over the years. Additionally, I am also a clinical training supervisor for advanced degree social workers seeking their independent licensure in Ohio, and can arrange for ongoing LISW supervision to meet state requirements.
I currently offer telehealth counseling services for residents anywhere in Ohio, as well as wellness groups and workshops online (and occasionally in person for those in the Medina/Summit County/Cuyahoga County and surrounding areas).
Let's see if we are a good match with a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation prior to starting ongoing services. You can even schedule online for a convenient consultation time (limited time slots available currently, call for details if no spots seem open and I'll fit you in).
I do take some insurance plans, and also accept self-pay clients for individual counseling services. If I am not in network with your insurance plan, you can pay up front per session, and receive a monthly Super Bill so that you can seek insurance reimbursement directly on your own. If you do not have any insurance coverage, please contact Open Path Psychotherapy Collective and request me (at a reduced courtesy rate). Please note: I can only accept a few clients at a time at the courtesy rate.
Workshops and wellness groups are fee based, and not covered by insurance, since they are educational and not diagnostic/treatment services.
